Jet Set Radio Future
Based on the highly popular 2000 game “Jet Grind Radio”, Smilebit has released an HD version of such to be renamed “Jet Set Radio” last summer of 2012.
“Jet Set Radio” was originally developed for the Sega gaming console but Vicarious Visions had published editions for the PlayStation gaming network as well as Xbox Live Arcade and Microsoft Windows platform.
The game is set in the city of Shibuya-cho, where Professor K, a DJ at a pirate radio station, tells the story of ‘rudies’ in Tokyo-to, who goes around city streets and nooks skating and spraying as a means of self-expression.
The game plot revolves around spraying certain marked areas in the form of tagging, involving various challenges and travails along the way.
Jet Grind Radio is one of those "something for everyone" games that really make a perfect addition to the Dreamcast library.
Each level gives you a time limit, a life meter, and a ton of areas that must be tagged before you can proceed. You'll encounter resistance in the form of gangs tagging over your tags and various levels of response from law enforcement officials. The law starts out small - a ragtag bunch of keystone cops who run after you with nightsticks. But as you move forward, the law gets more and more severe. Eventually, you'll face tear gas-launching cops in full riot gear, tanks, or find yourself surrounded by gunship helicopters that launch skater-seeking missiles in your direction. You also have to deal with the ever-present Officer Onishima, a roughneck cop with a gigantic pistol and a bad case of five o'clock shadow. Should you get caught in Onishima's sights, he'll chase after you, firing off rounds that will send you flying to the ground.
Aside from the game itself, there's also a limited graphic editor included. You can use the editor to create your own graffiti tags for use alongside the tons of artwork already hidden throughout the game. You can also save JPEG files to your VMU using the Dreamcast web browser and import them directly into the editor for use as tags.
Jet Grind Radio is one of those "something for everyone" games that really make a perfect addition to the Dreamcast library that no one should be without.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow -- Mirror of Fate
The Castlevania series comes anew with the release of “Castlevania: Lords of Shadow -- Mirror of Fate”. This action-adventure game is set in Southern Europe during the dark days of the Middle Ages. It features excellent graphical settings, with pop art visions of gothic architecture and mythical beasts.
The plot of the game revolves around Gabriel Belmont equipped with combat skills and strategy.
The combat involves a retractable chain whip called the Combat Cross. The player can perform up to forty unlockable combos with it. The commands consist of direct attacks for dealing damage to single enemies, and weak area attacks when surrounded by them. It is also capable of interactions with secondary weapons, such as knives, holy water and other items which can be upgraded.
We previously knew that there would be four different playable characters, and we knew that Trevor Belmont and Simon Belmont would be two of them. Alucard brings the number up to three, leaving only one unknown – who do you think the last hero will be?
Similar to the original Castlevania titles, platforming and puzzles are a key component and are featured in fifty levels. The player can control Gabriel to jump most distances, dash or hold his balance above fatal pits. The Combat Cross is not only used for fighting, but also for exploration purposes like scaling walls, rappelling and swinging across gaps. Some sequences of the game require the player to solve physical puzzles or brain teasers. Alternatively, moving certain objects can set off chain reactions and open the way to another area. Activating switches can also assist against traps. The player can explore the levels in order to find hidden items, which can increase health or abilities, best known as magic. These items are "gems"; there are three types of gems, life gems, light gems and dark gems. These can increase life endurance, light magical ability and dark magical ability, respectively.
Castlevania at its best is a feast for the eyes, pop art visions of gothic architecture and mythic beasts. Returning to the Castlevania III means Mercurysteam is looking to the series’ best for inspiration, but it seems to have missed what made that game so fine in the first place. With just a few months left before release, Mercurysteam has little time to change the game. Here’s hoping that it’s a bit brighter and a bit less laborious when it comes out later this year.

Apple to Release Smaller Ipad within this Year! Rivaling Google

With insider's information from within Apple, Bloomberg reports that Apple is set to launch a smaller edition of iPad within this year, most probable date is October. This edtion is said to be aimed at rivaling Google's Nexus.
The new tablet will have a screen that measures either 7 or 8 inches diagonally, but won't have a high resolution Retina display like the new iPad.
No word on price, but it'll likely be a lot cheaper than the $399iPad 2.
The product, which Apple may announce by October, won't have the high-definition screen featured on the iPad that was released in March, one of the people said.
A smaller, less-expensive iPad could undercut the ambitions of Google, Microsoft and Amazon.com to gain traction in the advancing tablet market, said Shaw Wu, an analyst at Sterne Agee & Leach.
The new device will probably have a price closer to Google's Nexus 7 tablet and Amazon's Kindle Fire, both of which have 7-inch screens and cost $199.
"It would be the competitors' worst nightmare," Wu said in an interview. "The ball is in Apple's court."
Trudy Muller, a spokeswoman for Cupertino, Calif.-based Apple, declined to comment.
Since the iPad went on sale in April 2010, Apple has dominated the tablet market, which is predicted by DisplaySearch to reach $66.4 billion this year. Apple has 61% of the market, according to Gartner.
While official specs and a release date have yet to be disclosed, consumers should be able to expect an announcement by early fall, and the new iPad by the end of the year.

Lost Planet 3
Set in the numinous planet E.D.N III, “LostPlanet 3” promises superbly exciting gameplay that would equal if not surpass the exhilaration of its predecessors, “Lost Planet : Extreme Condition” and “Lost Planet 2”. The game is a third person shooter set in alien space environment.
The game environment is actually set long before the events in its two previous editions, making it an interesting prequel, where E.D.N. III is ensconced within an Ice Age era. The story began in the time when human colonists were first sent to E.D.N. III by the Neo-Venus Construction Company or NEVEC to collect minerals to be sent back to Earth – in this main story plot, NEVEC becomes the central antagonists in the storyline. When NEVEC began to wield dictatorial force in its supervision of the mining activity, Jim, the main character, began to delve into the dark secrets of the devious company.
